Day 1: Campo Grande - Fazenda Baia das Pedras (310 km/6 hrs)
Arrival at the airport of Campo Grande, where your guide, with name board, is waiting for you, followed by the 4x4 transfer to Fazenda Baia das Pedras, 300 km from Campo Grande. The first 175 km will on paved roads and the last 135 km entering the Pantanal will be on bumpy dirt roads. Underway chances of seeing lots of wildlife incl. marsh and pampas deer, the capybara, caimans, howler monkey, the tapir, peccaries, toucans, jabiru stork, the hyacinth, yellow and red macaws and a hundred other birds. Arrival at the lodge in the late afternoon/evening followed by the check-in. During your stay the following activities will be scheduled at the pousada; horse ridings, trekking, canoe rides and photo safari through the surrounding nature. During your stay all meals and excursions are included. The Fazenda is located on the shores of Vazante do Castelo (draining field), in the Pantanal of Nhecolândia. The good hospitality and the pantaneira culinary are still a tradition at the Fazenda where the visitors can also deal with the cattle and get to know a little more about the culture of the Pantaneiro men. Day 2 & 3: Fazenda Baia das Pedras
The trips mentioned above are scheduled at the pousada. The trips will be carefully selected, depending the climate and time of the year and will be guided by local guides that know all about the flora and fauna that make this place unique. To avoid the intense heath during the day, the tours are taking place early in the morning and mid-afternoon, at these times of the day, the possibilities of seeing the movement of the animals are a lot bigger. Day 4: Fazenda Baia das Pedras - Fazenda Barranco Alto (80 km/3 hrs)
After breakfast ground transfer (80 km) in 4x4 to Fazenda Barranco Alto, with underway stops for photo shooting and appreciate wildlife. Arrival at Fazenda Barranco Alto followed by the check-in. The program will be adapted to suit the particular desires of each guest. Some of the possible actvities are; photosafari, exploring the meanders of the rio Negro by silent boats and kayaks, day and night walks on horses, boats and by foot, animal spotting by night with searchlights, river exploration and swimming. Dinner and overnight at Fazenda Barranco Alto. (B,L,D)

Day 5 & 6: Fazenda Barranco Alto

Day 7: Fazenda Barranco Alto - Campo Grande
After breakfast you will board a small air plane, Cessna 206 // 210 or a Piper Arrow for an unforgettable flight over the wetlands of the Pantanal back to Campo Grande. A flight of approximately 60 minutes. The flight will give you a wonderful idea of the Pantanal habitat, its forested islands of trees, lagoons, lakes and channels, and the scattered farmsteads built on the highest ground to avoid the annual flooding. Often one can spot tapir, capybara, flocks of birds and other animals while you fly at about 600 ft above the flat Pantanal. Arrival at the airport of Campo Grande in time for your domestic flight out. (B)
