Itinerary

Day 1: Campo Grande – Caiman Ecological Refuge (236 km)
Arrival in Campo Grande, where assistance, with name board, is waiting for you. Transfer to Caiman Ecological Refuge, situated in the Pantanal. Arrival and check-in.
During your stay the following tours will be scheduled at the pousada;Nature walks, horse back rides, Canadian canoe rides and ecological safari´s, depending the weather conditions. All tours are guided by Caimaners; young guides, at a university level, bi-lingual in English and Portuguese and trained in the fauna and flora of the Pantanal.Overnight at Caiman Ecological Refuge.(D)

Day 2/3: Caiman Ecological Refuge
The trips mentioned above are scheduled at the pousada. The trips will be carefully selected, depending the climate and time of the year and will be guided by local guides that know all about the flora and fauna that make this place unique. To avoid the intense heath during the day, the tours are taking place early in the morning and mid-afternoon, at these times of the day, the possibilities of seeing the movement of the animals are a lot bigger. During your stay all excursions and meals are included. Overnight at Caiman Ecological Refuge.(B,L,D)

Day 4: Caiman Ecological Refuge - Campo Grande
After breakfast transfer to the airport of Campo Grande in time for your domestic flight out.(B)

Observation

What to bring: T-shirts, long sleeved shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, jeans or track suit, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.
