Wonderfully placed into the middle of the Pantanal (starting in Poconé, 42 km along the Transpantaneira, then 3 km into the Pantanal), Pousada Rio Claro is located directly at the river Rio Claro.  

All 20 rooms are comfortably furnished, incl. bathroom with shower and toilet as well as air-conditioning and fan. Furthermore facilities include a swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

During your stay the following excursions are scheduled at the lodge: horse-riding through the Pantanal, hiking, fishing, boat trips, photographic safaris, a nightly boat trip on the river for watching caymans and other night-active animals.
