This Sagu Mini Resort, immersed in the luxurious Atlantic Rainforest, set in front of the calm waters of the Bay of Abraão, recalls the traditional style of a colonial Portuguese fishing village with an intimate piazza detailed with a pavement of inlaid terracotta, and walls of hand-hewn yellow, typical of the island. Apart from the garden surrounding the resort's five structures, the Sagú Mini Resort has at the disposal of it's guests 8 hectares of tropical forest and woodlands, rising behind the Resort to the nearby highlands, and have an incredible variety of plants.The name Sagú comes from a luxuriant garden plant: Cicas Circinalis.

Simple and yet elegants, the 9 rooms are spacious, featuring two suites located on different levels. Big part of the rooms have a private veranda with hammock from which one can sip the delicious local speciality, Caipirinha, and command an enchanting sunset on the bay.
The rooms are equiped with air conditioner, frigobar, fan, telephone, hair dryer.

Even if the culinary culture is firmly based on a classical European cuisine, the inspiration embraces the lightness of being, living and dining which is charmingly Brazilian: therefore the restaurant offers an inventive cuisine which highlights good taste, lightness and natural ingredients. Being located on an island, the restaurant features fish plates, both cooked and refreshingly crude, fresh, delicious.
