Asalem is situated directly on the spectacular Bay of Abraäo. The proximity to the ocean offers rare, intimate glimpses of sea creatures such as starfish, crustaceans and turtles, as well as abundant schools of fish. The forest brings frequent visitors, including monkeys, squirrels, fireflies, blue butterflies and a wide variety of exotic tropical birds.
Asalem is deliberately rustic and favors the magic of candlelight and gas lamps. There are nights so clear that the Milky Way itself will light your evening walks.

Asalem offers four comfortable standard suites that are situated at the top of the property to take advantage of the view of the Bay of Crena and Abraão. Each suite has a comfortable downstairs lounge area. replete with air-conditioning, fan, minibar, hammocks, floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors that, when open, give the feel of an airy pavilion. The suites open onto a terrace and landscape that resembles a tranquil Japanese garden. Bedrooms are located on an upstairs mezzanine for more privacy.
For the honeymooners Asalem has one special Eco-Honeymoon suite located right at the water front offering comfort and privacy in the middle of the tropical forest.

Each days menu is inspired by both the freshest seasonal ingredients and the guests desires. The intimate size makes it possible for you to discuss and plan your meals with the cook according to your tastes as well as schedules.
Breakfast (included): The breakfast is a tasty, visual delight which includes a variety of hand-picked tropical fruits and fresh juices, homemade jams, natural herbal teas from our own garden, and other must-tries that will provide a joyful, healthy start to your day.
Lunch and Dinner (prices vary): Just a sample of the gastronomic home-taste pleasures:

- Chicken in onion crème sauce
Such entrees can be followed by luscious desserts like vovo’s pumpkin with coconut pudding.
