Located on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in Búzios, Ferradura beach, Insólito Boutique Hotel has sustainable integration with nature and a sophisticated beach proposal, with thematic rooms that immerses one in Brazilian culture, decorated with design objects and landscaping and illumination by Anouk Barcat and Maneco Quinderé.
The spaces have been decorated by the owner, French business woman Emanuelle Meeus de Clermont-Tonnerre, as a token of her passion for Brazil. The rooms contain works of art and books about music, photography, literature, art, nature, history, architecture, fashion and black culture, displaying her cultural concern in the decor.
Insolito's arrival in Buzios has raised the standard for luxury accommodation in the area with just 12 spacious guest rooms and suites offering elegant decor with Brazilian influences and great views out across the bay. Each of the deluxe rooms have a small garden and ocean views, and the suites have private balconies where you can take in the breathtaking views. The style, colours, drapes, and furniture of Insolito are chic and ooze individuality.
At Insólito restaurant, Brazilian products gain flavor and a French touch from chef Rocha, who has worked at 66 Bistro and Zozô (Rio), Trapiche Adelaide (Salvador) and La Palette (Campinas). This French-Brazilian cuisine focuses mainly on seafood and is open to the public, when reserved in advance. The restaurant has a large fresco painting by Dominique Jardy, inspired by Iemanjá, and the guests are welcomed by individual maítres at the table – small fish in bottles, who suggest the dish of the day.
Insólito has a Wellness Center with responsible professionals whose services include: body and facial treatments, Insólito (extraordinary) moments, massages and Indian rituals to guarantee relaxation by the sea. The integration between the Wellness Center areas and nature guarantees that extra sense of pleasure for the guests.
In the social area, Insólito has a sweet water pool, a salt water pool, a dry sauna, a steam sauna, Jacuzzi and Ofurô. There are also three bicycles which are available for use by the guests.

The other boat, Dragos – 19 feet, capacity 4 people – is used more for water-skiing, wakeboarding and “bóia-cross” which is a variation of water-skiing.
