The luxurious Pousada Trijunção is located in the hearth of the Brazilian Cerrado (Savannah), which is the richer savannah in the world in terms of biodiversity, and houses more than 13,000 plant species (about 5% of all species of the world).
Just like the flora, its fauna is also exuberant as it’s composed by more than 850 species of birds, 251 of mammals, 482 of reptiles and amphibians and 1,200 of fish.

The lodge´s 03 Standard Suites measure approximately 30m2. These suites include a king size bed, decor with handicrafts and typical photos of the Cerrado, 600-thread cotton linen, towels and Trousseau robes. They comfortably accommodate one or two people, with the possibility of adding a single bed. Amenities: Air Conditioning, cable TV, safe, minibar, hairdryer, Natura amenities.
The 03 Premium Suites are spacious, and measure approximately 60m2. They have two environments: bedroom and living room. The ambiance is comfortable and includes a king bed size, handicraft decoration and typical photos of the Cerrado, 600-thread cotton linen, towels and Trousseau robes. They comfortably accommodate one or two people, with the possibility of adding a single bed. Amenities: Air Conditioning, cable TV, safe, minibar, hairdryer, Natura amenities.
The only Master Suite measures approximately 90m2. It has a living room and two balconies - one with entrance from the living room and another with entrance from the bedroom. With a large bathroom with hot tub, it’s super spacious and has of king size bed, decoration with crafts and typical photos of the Cerrado, 600-thread cotton linen, towels and Trousseau robes. Comfortably accommodates one or two people, with the possibility of adding a single bed. Amenities: Air Conditioning, cable TV, safe, minibar, hairdryer, Natura amenities.
The traditional culinary concept of the lodge includes outdoor and indoor kitchens; and Pousada Trijuncao offers picnics and alfresco night grills serenaded by local musicians, in addition to a restaurant for guests only. Breakfast, offered anytime of the day, is a highlight of the best the area has to offer, with typical cakes and fruit.

Maned Wolf:
one of the most fantastic animals of the Cerrado, and one of the greatest examples of its diversity. It is threatened with extinction, but some individuals inhabit the limits of Fazenda Trijunção. In partnership with the Onçafari NPO, the lodge maintains a research project dedicated to its preservation. Guests can visit the project - and witness its greatest star, in his home habitat. -
Kayak trip to the Rio Formoso: A kayak or motor boat ride through the lagoon where Rio Formoso springs from is an unique opportunity to take advantage of the tranquility of the Cerrado, its beauty and life around. You can be welcomed by bands of local macaws, which often fly over visitors. -
Guided bicycle tours (3km-5km-10km): The flat formation of the Cerrado is perfect for
bike rides. In equipment suitable for the terrain, and provided by the lodge, the guests can explore the Cerrado - on ever-expanding tracks - including a drive to border between 3 different States and Regions in Brazil - the landmark that gives its name to both Fazenda and Pousada. -
Birdwatching: More than
210 species of birds can be found at Fazenda Trijunção, among them many notable species for their rarity, beauty or particular behaviours. To be able to observe them in free life accompanied by an expert guide is an opportunity to connect uniquely with nature. -

Alligator night spotting with kayak: After the beautiful sunset in the Cerrado and guided by the team through kayaks in Lagoa das Araras, the guests have the opportunity to observe a diverse and mysterious fauna, including the smallest species of alligator in the world - the dwarf alligator - which inhabits the lagoon.

Eco-Safari at night: Many animals are most active in the late afternoon and early evening when they find protection in darkness and greater thermal comfort. It is at this moment that the guests, accompanied by specialized guides, have the opportunity to board the specially adapted safari truck and explore Fazenda Trijunção roads that meander through the vastness of the Cerrado. Under the mantle of the night, powerful lanterns make the animals’ eyes shine, increasing the chance of locating them in the darkness. In addition to different species of nocturnal birds, including urutau, bacuraus and owls; mammals such as maned wolf, field fox, skunks, armadillos, anteaters, tapir and even – if luck – pecan and jaguar are among the animals that can cross your path.
