The Rio Roosevelt Lodge is located in the heart of the Amazon, surrounded by virgin forests at the meeting of the Rivers Roosevelt and Madeirinha the foot of the waterfall Sta. Rita. Are beautiful landscapes for you to enjoy unforgettable moments, both for sport fishing as the observation of birds, animals and butterflies, walking nature trails, knowing streams and can stay overnight in comfort at the outposts. The Rio Roosevelt Lodge was designed in complete harmony with nature, offering the viewer the greatest number of bird species across Latin America, with over 500 species of birds and about 12 species of primates.

The name Roosevelt was given in honor of the 26th American President (Theodore Roosevelt), that between the months of December / 1913 to May / 1914 along with Candido Marechal Rondon, led an expedition to catch animals and birds to the Museum's collection of Natural History in New York, where a wing on the expedition.

The Rio Roosevelt Lodge has 06 cottages with 55m², air-conditioned, facing the beach and waterfall making your stay unforgettable. 

Meals are served in Piui restaurant (affectionate name given to a bird in the galliforms species of the family of cracids "Mutum" who visited us assiduously for years.), Fully air-conditioned, with panoramic views of the beach and waterfall where you can enjoy the best of the typical cuisine of the region.

Due to its remote location the only access is by air. The air transfer to the lodge is operated by GRAN CARAVAN and SENECA aircraft from the city of Porto Velho, capital of Rondonia State.
